Problem Note 48116: "ERROR: Write Access Violation INFOMAPS (2)" might occur after submitting PROC INFOMAPS code in SAS® Enterprise Guide®
If you are running any release of SAS 9.3, you might see the following error in the SAS log after submitting PROC INFOMAPS code in SAS Enterprise Guide.

In addition, after the error appears, SAS Enterprise Guide stops responding if you resubmit the code.
As a workaround, you can do one of the following:
- Instead of using METACREDENTIALS=NO, edit the code to use the METAUSER and METAPASS options.
- Remove the METAREPOSITORY=FOUNDATION option from the code. (This workaround resolves the issue only if the repository is Foundation.)
